In 2016, I became a Certified Zentangle® Teacher and with that my life changed. After getting certified I began teaching several classes from the Introduction to Zentangle® Art to Zentangle® Inspired Art.
Several of my students wanted to continue and meet on a weekly basis. We would meet in a cafe with our tangling supplies, and I would teach them various new tangles that they could use in their art.
Then Covid hit our life's and we needed to pivot. At that point I learned all I needed to know about offering classes online. I purchased a document camera to project what I was teaching and learned all about the Zoom platform. Nothing fancy, just authentic.
I named our club Tangle Zone and now after 10 years we are still meeting, enjoying each other's company, and making art that soothes.
I am always adding new students along the way.

If you can write your name, you can tangle. I didn't think I had a creative bone in my body-I now can honestly say I am an artist.
I believe everyone is creative in some way, cooking, sewing, quilting, gardening, etc. Why not give it a go? I know you will be surprised and thrilled with what you can do when the steps are broken down.
