I have embraced walking recently. It is the one physical thing I can do that not only is easy on my physical being but it is easy on my emotions. It literally lifts my mood. I may start out in a funk and before I know it I am listening to sounds, feeling happy, and looking around at all the beauty. I know this probably sounds all candy coated but it really does all these things. By the time I get home, I feel energized to walk through the rest of my day. It is such a simple thing to do and right out my front door. I don't need any special equipment or a gym membership. I adjust my gear depending on the weather. I have walked in minus degrees to much hotter temperatures. I can even do upper body work as I walk and lunges and squats. I usually walk from 30 minutes to an hour. I set a monthly goal to keep me motivated.
When I walk, I can come up with ideas for courses I want to offer, materials I want to create with, creative ideas to explore, and new things I want to learn. I now have two courses I am offering and I hope you will take a look and hopefully register. I plan on offering a Soul Collage® course in the coming months. I will continue to walk and be grateful for the beauty that surrounds me and keep coming up with new ideas.
